On your arrival at Leh Airport, you will be greeted by our driver cum guide, who will, after introduction, drive you to the Hotel. Check in to your Hotel and get refreshed. Start your day with sightseeing at a local market in the evening. It would be best to visit Alchi, like a monastery, gurudwara pathar sahib, magnetic hills, and moon land in Lamayuru. Retire back to your Hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Start your day early with breakfast and leave early for Nubra valley. It would be best to stop at K2, also called Khurdungla pass, famous for being the world’s highest motorable road. Enjoy the evening with a camel ride and desert safari. Check in to the camp and enjoy the beauty of nature in Nubra valley. Retire to your campsite and enjoy the delicacies of dinner and a night stay.

Start your day with freshly brewed tea and enjoy the scenic beauty by capturing it permanently in your camera. Enjoy the camel ride known worldwide for being double-humped if you have a nick for adventure. Diskit, the capital of Nubra, is about 150 km north of Leh town, the capital of Ladakh district, India. Local scholars say its original name was Ldumra (the valley of flowers). The Shyok River meets the Nubra or Siachen River to form a large valley that separates the Ladakh and Karakoram Ranges. The deep-cut Shyok and Nubra River Valleys (permit required) offer tremendous yet accessible scenery with green oasis villages surrounded by thrillingly stark scree slopes, boulder fields, and harsh arid mountains. There are dunes, monasteries, a ruined palace, and – at Turtuk – a different culture (Balti) to discover. Post lunch, start your journey towards Leh via Khurdungla.

It is a real shame if you have been to Leh and have not visited Pangong lake. The journey has been divided into several parts to make it more memorable and enjoyable. Leh – Karu (45 km): Start from Leh early in the morning after breakfast and start driving/riding on the Leh – Manali highway until you reach Karu. Karu – Chang La (35 km): From Karu, you need to take the left turn that would take you to the village of Shakti, roads are primarily straight till you cross Shakti, and a few kilometers after that, the total ascent for Chang La starts. At 17,800ft, it is also the second-highest pass in Ladakh that you will come across. There is a temple on top of Chang La pass, called Chang La Baba ka Mandir, and a cabin built by the army where you can warm up while chatting with the soldiers. Your next big break will be at Tanksey, a.k.a. Tangste; Tanksey is a big town with few shops, hotels, and an internet café. It is a good idea to have your lunch here. Tanksey – Spangmik (Pangong Tso) (32 km): The journey beyond Tanksey, for the most part, is through fantastically laid tarmac and views, Check in to your camp and enjoy your dinner and overnight stay.
